Privacy Policy

Overview

Code-Uncode is a daily puzzle game operated by Cephacon. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do.

The short version: we collect almost nothing, we store nothing personal, and we never sell or share your data.

What we collect

Anonymous game analytics. When you complete a puzzle, we record a single anonymous event containing: the game name, the date of the puzzle, whether you solved it, and how many attempts you used. This data contains no identifying information — no name, no email, no device ID, no IP address is stored permanently.

Nothing else. We do not collect your name, email address, location, device information, or any other personal data.

Local storage

Code-Uncode uses your browser's local storage to save your game progress and streak. This data never leaves your device — it is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Cookies

We use a temporary session token for security purposes when you submit a guess. This token expires at the end of your session and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Third parties

We do not share any data with third parties. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or analytics platforms. We do not sell data.

We load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log this request as part of their standard infrastructure. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com.

Children

Code-Uncode does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. The game does not require registration or any form of account creation.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this policy we will update this page. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
